homemade ranch salad dressing

Ingredients:


– 1 cup mayonnaise


– 1/2 cup sour cream


– 1/2 cup buttermilk


– 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice


– 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped


– 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped


– 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped


– 1 teaspoon garlic powder


– 1 teaspoon onion powder


– 1/2 teaspoon salt


– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions:


1. **Mix Base Ingredients:** In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk until smooth and well combined.


2. **Add Lemon Juice:** Stir in the fresh lemon juice.


3. **Incorporate Herbs:** Add the chopped parsley, chives, and dill to the mixture.


4. **Season:** Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.


5. **Adjust Consistency:** If the dressing is too thick, add a little more buttermilk until you reach your desired consistency.


6. **Refrigerate:** Transfer the dressing to a jar or an airtight container. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
